Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Machine Shop supporting the Manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Milwaukie, OR

Pay Range: $20-$26/hr DOE

What's the Job?

  • Set up and run CNC mills and lathes

  • Evaluate tool wear and make offsets as necessary

  • Load and unload parts into machine

  • Check product for conformity to specifications and ensure proper handling of nonconforming product

  • Complete all necessary production documentation

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 6 months CNC machine operating experience

  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written machining procedures

  • Knowledge of blueprints and set up sheets

  • Knowledge of Fanuc controls and ability to read and follow program, including feeds, speeds, G codes, M codes

  • Ability to use an electric pallet jack
