These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.​We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Conducting procedural tests on production product including incoming material needed to support customer need dateResponsible for understanding and use of all test equipment, test fixtures, and proceduresMaintaining security for all quality verification equipment and its calibration controlNotify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering)Responsible for completing documentation (shop packs, quality test reports) accurately and timelyResponsible for entering data into the ERP system accurately and timelyResponsible for maintaining high quality standards and workmanshipMaintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the companyMaintain a safe working environmentCommunicating special tooling needed to perform operation that may have not been identifiedOral/Written Communication – Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Records dataEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum of 2 Years’ experience in manufacturing environmentAbility to apply common sense in performing jobAbility to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelinesAbility to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to use basic high school math skillsTwo-year technician degree or equivalentExperience/training with basic electricityExperience handling fiber optic related productJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to use test equipment needed to perform tasks (Meggers, Ohm-meters)Ability to use optical test equipmentComputer Literate Working knowledge of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, OutlookAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to work with little or no notice of overtime when neededAble to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications and proceduresTraining Requirements:ERP OverviewSix Sigma OverviewHazardous CommunicationsQuality SystemsPhysical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 70 poundsDaily computer usageRepetitive motionsWork Environment:Production Floor EnvironmentPersonal Protective Equipment:Safety Glasses required at all timesSteel Tip Safety ShoesWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
