Requirements

Our client is a leader in the design and manufacturing of precision motion systems, largely for the defense and aerospace industries. They are beginning a hiring push to grow the size of their space vehicles team in Arvada, CO, and are looking to add a Software Engineer to a team that looks to double in size:

1. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
2. 2+ years of experience in designing and developing software in an embedded real-time environment.
3. Experience with C, C++, Python, or similar languages.
4. Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and can communicate effectively.

Job Duties

1. Design and implement software simulators used in automated testing.
2. Design and implement real-time embedded software utilized in the Spacecraft Buses.
3. Perform software unit testing.
4. Review and provide feedback on software requirements.
5. Direct interfacing to space vehicle hardware.
6. Work with internal team members to solve complex software and system issues.
7. Work with fellow software engineers in the Agile development environment.
