Electrical Engineer

- Lead the design and development of advanced electrical systems for optomechanical instruments.
- Design, develop and test electrical systems for proof-of-concept experiments through production- level instruments.
- Translate design requirements into detailed component specifications and design highly efficient, reliable systems.
- Drive projects to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and customer expectations while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Identify and implement enhancements to existing products and contribute innovative ideas for new products that meet emerging market demands.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, focusing on hardware design, analog and digital circuitry.
- Proficiency in system design, PCB layout, and schematic capture.
- Experience with high-speed communication protocols such as: I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and Ethernet.
- Expertise in designing low-noise systems.
- Knowledge of designing to meet electrical compliance standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to tackle complex, abstract problems and foster solid and interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
