Mid-Level GIS Database Administrator

Day to Day Tasks

1. Researching tools, products, and applications for enhancing HIFLD infrastructure
2. Develop scripts, tools, workflows to address project requirements
3. Assistance in design, development, and implementation of GIS applications
4. Manage Database/Geodatabase
   • Troubleshooting DB and GDB issues
   • Create and update data layers and features as necessary
5. Create/update technical documentation
6. Provide support to technical team

Qualifications

1. Understanding of basic cloud infrastructure
2. ArcGIS and Enterprise
3. ArcGIS Portal and AGOL
4. Familiarity with SQL/Python/Arcade Programming Languages and Esri ArcGIS API
   • Troubleshooting code
5. Technical documentation - write and understand
6. Communications - translate from customer requirements to technical documentation and vice versa
7. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
8. Active Security Clearance (Secret preferred)

Nice to have

1. Knowledge of AWS or AWS certification
2. Top Secret Clearance
