Job Requirements / Description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provides expert knowledge and acts as a subject matter expert on key principles of Identity and Access Management and expertise with the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform.

  2. Assists with building out engineering, development and operational support with the adoption of next generation IAM solutions.

  3. Experience implementing modern authentication solutions leveraging standard protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC.

  4. Engages in the review and design of new IAM solutions to ensure appropriate controls and tools are selected and operationalized.

  5. Establishes and maintains an IT multi-year strategy with a focus on continuous improvement for an enterprise identity and access management shared service solution.

  6. Ensures IT solutions meet requirements for security, availability, capacity, resiliency, and performance in a way that is efficient and supportable, reducing overall support costs.

  7. Maintains effective partnerships with teams, vendors, managers, leaders, and stakeholders.

  8. Understands business needs and recommends technology solutions.

Required Skills and Experiences

  1. 8+ years of engineering experience in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space.

  2. 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform deployed on-premise.

  3. Must have experience implementing identity and access management/governance business rules in SailPoint IIQ including access approval workflows.

  4. Experience using IdentityIQ to develop customized workflows, forms, rules, and certifications to manage, administer, and govern enterprise identities and access.

  5. Experience with IdentityIQ system upgrades and patches in an on-premise deployment.

  6. Experience setting up a variety of roles/certifications using IdentityIQ such as Business Owner Certifications, Manager Certifications, Role Membership/Content Certifications.

  7. Experience creating custom reporting directly against the IIQ database using the built-in reporting and compliance module.

  8. Experience deploying and managing a wide range of technologies/components/tools that support web applications to include: Java, JavaScript, React, Angular, Oracle RDBMS, Apache Tomcat, web services (REST & SOAP).

  9. Ability to communicate with customers at all levels of management and deliver informative, well-organized presentations.

  10. Ability to listen and understand the customer's business goals, objectives, and priorities.

  11. Ability to collaborate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions.

  12. Ability to manage customer expectations effectively.

  13. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical and business stakeholders.

  14. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field.

Nice to Have

  1. Experience with Role Mining tools and technologies.

  2. Experience with SailPoint IdentityNow is preferred.

  3. Strong experience in key management in classic architectures as well as cloud technologies.

  4. Health Insurance, Financial Services, or experience in highly regulated industries is preferred.

  5. SailPoint certified or willing to be certified.
