Role Summary

The Sr. Systems Integrations Engineer plays a crucial role in the comprehensive design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of Workday integrations. This position collaborates extensively with HR and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration processes.


Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, test, maintain, and support Workday, Service Now integrations using tools like Studio, Connectors, PECI files.
  2. Ensure scheduled integrations run smoothly, proactively troubleshooting and resolving any issues.
  3. Analyze business requirements to create effective integration solutions and automation for modules such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance, Recruiting/ATS, IAM, Training, ITSM, and HR Service delivery.
  4. Manage data changes and operational support procedures.
  5. Plan, design, and implement new HR system integrations to meet business needs.
  6. Collaborate with HR, IT, Data, and vendor teams for unit, system, and UAT testing, as well as troubleshooting and triage.
  7. Stay updated on Workday and Service Now Community trends and upcoming features, providing technical input on optional features.
  8. Prepare detailed technical documentation to support the design and maintenance of integrations.
  9. Provide ongoing support and collaboration with business units, including planning, validation, testing, and service updates.
  10. Continuously assess and improve existing integrations for performance, reducing complexity.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert for HR process areas from an HRIS integration perspective.
  12. Ensure the highest levels of data integrity and privacy.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. 5+ years of Workday HCM; Integrations
  3. Deep working knowledge of Technical and Functional Configurations, Workday Studio, Integration design patterns and development.
  4. Proficiency in HCM, EIBs, Studio, and Core Connectors with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
  5. Experience in Workday implementation projects.
  6. Active participation in the Workday Community.
  7. Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  8. Experience supporting Workday integrations in mid to large-sized organizations.
  9. Workday integration tools like Studio, Connectors, and PECI files.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $137,800 - $172,200 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
