We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Software Engineer, you will work closely with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to the development of cutting-edge software products. The impact you will have

The Junior Software Engineer is part of a team building Win64 and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. The development teams utilize a microserviceapproach using the Microsoft Azure platform, Microsoft .NET languages (C#andASP.NET), and MS SQL. For the front-end the developments teams utilizeHTML5, CSS 3.0, JavaScript, JSON, and VUE.
The Junior Software Developer will be involved in all facets of the lifecycle toinclude planning, building, testing, delivery, deployment, and maintenance.
This is a contract position with the goal of hiring a full-time employee.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Actively support the team as a full stack software developer
  • Embrace an Agile/Lean mindset throughout the day
  • Continually align to internal engineering approaches and standards
  • Continually refactor code and scripts
  • Continually align to quality minimums and seek ways to improve them
  • Check-in code to GitLab at least once a day
  • Continually seek ways to automate every aspect of delivery and deployment
  • Continually suggest enhancements to the organization and team technical stacks
  • Collaborate with leadership and teams for improvements
  • As needed, conduct code and peer reviews
  • As needed, provide customer support
  • As needed, provide customer support
  • As needed, provide internal demonstrations
