Job Summary
Undertake market & business development within the geographical scope for Infrastructure business in a Business-to-Project environment, specifically in the wastewater segment (public and private).
Key local resource to represent Imerys Infrastructure segment across all markets. Work and interact into a dedicated Infrastructure Team with several exchanges.
Responsibilities
- Commercial plan building:
Prepare budget, forecasts, and sales plans. Review sales performance against targets.
- Support and execute commercial roadmaps:
Understand, support, and execute the appropriate commercial roadmaps developed for the Infrastructure Solutions segments.
- Participate in portfolio building:
Contribute to Imerys Portfolio building with new product ideas and complements.
- Plan execution and monitoring:
Identify sales development opportunities and capture them (across multiple sectors).
- Contract negotiation:
Negotiate contracts with customers, working with the legal department to prepare the contract. Manage contract follow-up.
- Customer actions implementation:
Implement actions requested by customers through visit reports.
- Pricing strategy execution:
Implement pricing strategy in coordination with the Area Sales Manager.
- Coordination with Technical Support:
Coordinate activities with Technical Support for Infrastructure projects and markets.
- Market intelligence management:
Manage market intelligence through the CRM tool. Support claim management (Salesforce).
- Representation:
Represent Imerys in front of relevant wastewater associations.
Competencies and Experience
- B2P experience for an engineering solution in the Construction & Infrastructure field. Understanding of typically long selling loops.
- Ideally 10+ years' experience with Specification Selling toward Public and Private sectors in the wastewater segment.
- Proven track record in Sales & Account Management or similar customer-facing role.
- Value-added selling and negotiation capabilities.
- Able to work with a variety of stakeholders, including public and para-public authorities (e.g. cities, governments, and water, energy and transport operators) and privately owned companies, contractors, and consulting engineers specialized in wastewater.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The position requires a good understanding of the Business-to-Project infrastructure ecosystem and ways to penetrate the market; a “Hunter” mindset is essential.
- Self-motivated; taste for challenges - entrepreneurial mentality, autonomous; able and willing to collaborate with peers in a remote manner.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% per week, depending on customer and market development demands.
