Job Title: Systems Engineer III
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Onsite, Seattle, WA
Pay Range: $57/hr. - $62/hr.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer III with expertise in server operations, Linux/UNIX environments, automation, and supply chain planning. In this role, you will contribute to the setup of Robotics infrastructure, focusing on technical innovation in infrastructure operations and supply chain planning solutions. Working independently, you will utilize Kinaxis Rapid Response to drive efficiency and quality in server and operational management, workbook configuration, and supply chain optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, supply chain planning experience, and proficiency in Kinaxis software.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize server infrastructure to enhance performance and scalability in Amazon Robotics and supply chain operations.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex server and network issues, implementing long-term, cost-effective solutions.
Design and implement automated infrastructure solutions using Kinaxis Rapid Response for supply chain planning, with a focus on workbook configuration and authoring.
Collaborate on the development of operational workflows and automation to increase efficiency and reliability.
Establish metrics to track infrastructure performance, continuously improve system reliability, and provide a consistent, positive customer impact.
Core Requirements:
Extensive Linux/UNIX experience in datacenter and infrastructure environments.
Proven expertise in Kinaxis Rapid Response for supply chain planning, including workbook authoring and configuration.
Proficiency in Perl/Python programming and shell scripting for automation purposes.
Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., Ethernet, IP, ICMP, TCP, SSL, DNS).
Experience with SQL and Java for database management and system functionality.
Highly Desirable Attributes:
• Kinaxis Certification in Rapid Response.
• Knowledge of AWS technologies and cloud services.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Mercurial, or SVN).
• Familiarity with large-scale disk subsystems and enterprise networking.
• Supply chain planning expertise in an industrial or logistics setting.
