Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering - Supply Chain Technology, Software Engineer II - Supply Chain Technology will perform hands-on tasks related to new features, enhancements, extensions, customizations, integrations and reports. They will also work on resolving and triaging production issues, supporting operational users, working closely with vendor resources as well as other tech resources across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Software design/development/configuration/testing/implementation
- Day to day support of systems supporting warehouse operations
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering/Technology required
- 5+ years total experience in software design, development, test, implementation
- 2+ years of experience with SQL/Stored Procedures and RDBMS (SQL Server/Oracle)
- 3+ years experience with programming languages like Java/Go/Python/.NET and APIs/Services
- 2+ years experience with AWS services, cloud code repositories, distributed version management tools, and CI/CD
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Supply Chain processes in Consumer Goods environments will be a plus
- Working experience in Warehouse Management Systems like Highjump/Korber, Manhattan Associates, JDA/Red Prairie will also be a plus
- Ability to develop and change jasper reports is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Monitoring/Alerting tools.
- Experience with JIRA and similar tools.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and functional domains
- Strong Interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in working collaboratively at all levels inside/outside the organization.
- Ability to provide on-call/off-hours support for any critical or high priority incidents impacting our business operations.
- Travel on need basis to our distribution centers.
