Seeking an Oracle Developer to design, develop, maintain, and test software. Collaborate with teams and business partners to deliver solutions in an agile environment. Must deliver on time without defects. Tasks include Oracle PL/SQL development and managing database tables based on business needs.
Title: Oracle Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Contract: 12-18 months
Pay: $65-68/hr
**Note:** All candidates MUST be able to work on an Experis W2. We cannot work with C2C candidates or third parties.
Responsibilities:
- Develop/modify PL/SQL and SQL Views in Oracle.
- Create/modify database tables.
- Performance tuning and explain plan analysis.
- Work with normalization, renormalization, and star schema.
- Develop stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries.
- Perform unit testing and develop test cases.
- Coordinate with distributed teams and provide regular updates.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills:
- Primary: Oracle SQL/PLSQL
- Secondary: ETL/Database testing
- Required: Oracle 11.x+, experience with procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries
- Desired: Informatica, Autosys, Unix, Agile, SDM onboarding tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins)
