Civil Project Engineer

The Civil Project Engineer will assist the project team in the planning and execution of Heavy Civil construction projects. Projects primarily include excavation, grading, and underground utilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on small and large-scale projects.
Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of work plans, takeoff, and subcontracts.
• Attend pre-construction meetings.
• Provide support to the Project Manager and Project Superintendent.
• Understanding project documents - Specifications and Drawings.
• Assist in monitoring the project schedule and work completed.
• Cost tracking.

Knowledge & Skills

• Motivated, a 'self-starter'.
• Able comprehend construction plans.
• Solid general math skills.
• MS Office and construction software.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Safety always.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; equivalent field experience will be considered.
• 2 years of construction experience with heavy/civil preferred

Travel

• Overnight may be assigned based on project requirements.
