The Role:

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. This position involves working with PHP, Symfony, React and Redux with the ability to build scalable applications. If you have experience working with React Native and App & Play Store that is a definite plus! The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, well-documented code.


Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and document project requirements by working closely with clients to ensure solutions meet business goals

- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that enhances our products

- Develop front-end elements and server-side code using the LAMP stack

- Customize, integrate, and extend open-source content management systems (CMS)

- Optimize applications for high performance and responsiveness

- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data

- Deliver on project plans and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Follow agency processes for testing, approval, and routing

- Assist IT in server management, including periodic after-hours support


Requirements:

  • Four-year degree preferred, with coursework in Computer Science or related field (i.e. Computer Programming, Mathematics, or Engineering) and/or equivalent experience. Credit may be given toward experience for candidates with a two-year degree in a directly related field.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be comfortable working in dynamic client environments, and adjust solutions based on evolving business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide effective technical solutions that meet business goals.
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform challenges.

Proficiency in:

  • Agile software development methodology
  • CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, osCommerce)
  • REST-based web services and MVC design patterns
  • UNIX/Linux command line, responsive design (mobile app development is a plus)

Nice to Have:

  • C#/.NET experience
  • Familiarity with PSR standards
  • Experience with bug tracking/project management tools (Jira, ClearQuest)
  • Agency experience
