The DAIRS system must be maintained and be available so that GEOINT, film-based imagery, is available to NGA and its worldwide customers. This is accomplished by maintaining and updating all DAIRS components (DRS website, AIS website, and associated database for each website) and ensuring data dissemination to the customer and to the National Data Libraries (NDL). NSG partners will be able to access the AIS database where they can research reconnaissance aircraft and other film based airborne mission data. NSG partners will be able to access the Duplication Request Service (DRS) where they can request historical National Technical Means (NTM) and aerial hardcopy and softcopy imagery.The Contractor shall provide website development and database management support to NGA. The maintenance and updating of the DAIRS will ensure the timely, accurate, and relevant dissemination of GEOINT to NGA’s customers.The Contractor’s duties include:Contractor shall maintain DAIRS operations and sustainment at NCE (SECNet, NGANet).Providing and maintaining a gold copy of the DAIRS baseline for the Website and database, including:Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) repositories for all scanned images not submitted to the NDLScripts that feed NITF files to the NDLScripts that collect other image filesMaintaining a list of functional requirements, to include developing long-term feature releasesMaintaining a source code repository and appropriate Configuration Management controlsDeveloping workflows in coordination with customers to support automation, where possibleProviding adequate testing (including with impacted customers) prior to releases/updatesEnsuring appropriate PKI or other IdAM integrationEnsuring web services availabilityDefining mission application OS requirementsDefining mission application performance requirementsPackaging and testing IAVA’s (Mission applications)Providing database updates to maintain the DAIRS systemCreating/Managing/Troubleshooting of Application Schema-level processes, database objects and entity dataGranting/Revoking access to entity schema-level database objects/dataTroubleshooting for DAIRS system errors and providing bug fixesAssisting in script creation for metrics collection and reportingAssisting with the updating of the AIRTAPS systemPosting Mission DataAssisting with adaptive maintenance related to third party vendor updates, security patches, compliance controls, and other fixes required by NGACoordinating with the ISP on all changes and outagesCreating backups of mission dataPreparing mission application for restore activities (as needed)Providing Incident and Problem ManagementProviding multi-level problem and root cause analysis – mission application servicePosition RequirementsTo fill this position, you shall have the following skills and abilities:Performing database administration using SQLPerforming webserver tuning and maintenanceDesigning custom web pages, including the use of Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP)Must have an Active Top Secret / SCI clearanceImplementing File Transfer Protocol (FTP)Location DCFull-Time/Part-Time Full-TimeExempt/Non-Exempt ExemptSecurity Clearance Requirements Top Secret / SCIThis position is currently accepting applications.
