Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead on-site maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning efforts at customer facilities throughout the Northeast, primarily Southern New England.
  • Manage small to medium engineering projects.
  • Perform protective relay testing at customer sites, both independently or as part of a team
  • Interface with employees and customers in coordinating work at customer sites, executing the work, and resolving problems as they arise.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • A good attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn. We will train the right people.
  • Strong logistical and organizational, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Working knowledge of electrical power distribution, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash hazards (NFPA70E)
  • Experience testing electro-mechanical and/or digital protective relays and a working knowledge of protective relaying applications
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Requirements
  • BSEE preferred, but not required.
  • 3-5 Years' experience testing electro-mechanical, electronic and digital protective relays and a working knowledge of protective relaying applications preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings; knowledge to interpret and analyze schematics a must. Autocad experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of NETA acceptance and maintenance testing procedures a plus.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
