We have an opportunity for a hands-on, customer focused Systems Engineer to join our Product Services & Support team. The Opportunity ... Performs system installation of autonomous vehicles and peripheral equipment (chargers, I/O panels, operator interfaces, etc.). Installing, testing and debugging of the system. Support existing customers remotely via phone, email, and VPN. Collaborating with other engineers on projects. Modifying equipment and software. Troubleshooting, defining and seeking resources to recognize and resolve electrical, mechanical and/or software improvement opportunities with system components. Making software and hardware adjustments. Monitors system performance metrics. Performs customer training. Why work at JBT ... Knowledge of control and software systems. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Excellent organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Able to travel up to 50% (domestic and international). Valid driver’s license required. Valid passport required.
