Description: **SECOND SHIFT**You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Sensor Integration and Test Center.What You Will Be DoingA Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for translating complex engineering blueprints and parts lists into easy to follow, all-encompassing work instructions for the mechanics/assemblers on the production floor. You will be tasked with improving the overall process of the build using complex, cutting edge technologies and automation. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.#mfcprodopsICsBasic Qualifications:• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.• Must have the ability to work 2nd shift• Ability to obtain a Security clearance, therefore must be a US citizen.• 1-3 years of related experience in a production / manufacturing environment.Desired Skills:• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Access, Word, Excel)• CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tooling, taking a concept through to final design and fabrication• Experience in troubleshooting problems and developing solutions• Experience in process development and automation• Knowledge of optical manufacturing processes (optical bonding, optical centering, interferometers)• Experience writing technical work instructions• Familiarity with equipment operation such as but not limited to interferometers, lens centering machines, pneumatic dispensing machines, plasma cleaning machines, cobots• Able to work in a cross function, teaming environment• Knowledge of GD&T• SAP Experience• Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniquesSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
