Salary Range: $165,000 to $210,000

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Senior Project Managers at Cupertino Electric are responsible for the day-to-day operations of construction projects and the successful management of a high-performing team.
  • Provide internal and external coordination and collaboration with project partners and stakeholders.
  • Lead the team in successfully managing the planning, execution, and financial performance of projects.
  • Own the financial outcome of the project.
  • Lead and develop high-performance project teams across multiple and/or large, complex projects.
  • Make strategic decisions and recommendations aimed at enhancing relationships with clients and maximizing project profitability.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all client, company, and project policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Provide ownership, oversight, and direction for the construction management team.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the activities of both company and subcontractor personnel on assigned projects.
  • Authorize and approve all purchase requisitions, change requests, etc., within designated signing authority.
  • Take responsibility for achieving financial objectives by monitoring and contributing to each stage of project development.
  • Implement and enforce company safety protocols, ensuring adherence by all direct reporting employees.
  • Offer mentorship and training to facilitate employee growth and development within the project team.
  • Lead projects and project teams through all phases from qualification to closeout.
  • Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Proactively identify project risks and potential issues, developing and executing recovery action plans as necessary.
  • Own project financials, tracking budget variances, job costs, productivity, and reporting on financial performance.
  • Skillfully negotiate with internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with customers and end-user owners.
  • Be a cultural ambassador for CEI.

ABOUT YOU

  • Thorough knowledge of the estimating, project cost accounting, scheduling, procurement, productivity tracking and reporting principles necessary to profitably complete electrical construction projects.
  • Experience with union workforces.
  • Verifiable experience of safe, reliable and integrity-driven work habits.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Strong ability to influence and drive positive outcomes.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Project. Experience with Accubid Classic preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education : High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
  • Experience : Typically requires 8+ years of related experience managing Infrastructure Projects.
  • Driving Record: Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
