Job Title: Network Engineer III

Duration:  6 month contract with strong potential for renewal/long-term opportunities; potential for permanent conversion

Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III to join our client's team in Charlotte. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with advanced network technologies and contribute to key operational and provisioning tasks. As part of this team, you’ll handle live equipment, manage critical network configurations, and troubleshoot a variety of complex networking challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks based on Method of Procedure (MOPs) to carry out complex provisioning on live network equipment, including the potential for service outages.
• Perform circuit grooming, card swaps, and software updates.
• Troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
• Work with high-end networking equipment, including Juniper MX960, Cisco ASR9000, and Cisco ME3400.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience working for an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network carrier.
• Experience working with internet service providers networks is a significant plus.
• Certifications required: CCNA or JNCIA minimum.
• Preferred certifications: CCNP or JNCP for advanced knowledge.
