Werfen is seeking an Instrument Service Engineer that will perform multiple tasks associated with in-house calibration, repair, and maintenance of Werfen's non-capital equipment. As Service Engineer, you will be responsible for all in-house instrumentation Neo and Echo systems utilized in customer training, production, product investigation lab and technical training. Additionally, you will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on internal systems. The Instrument Service Engineer will perform multiple tasks associated with in-house calibration, repair, and maintenance of non-capital equipment. Instrument Service Engineer - In-house (Medical Device)

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

    Repairing the repairable-parts inventory for modules and various service components for service replacement parts
  • Performing multiple tasks of repair and maintenance of Werfen's training and production capital equipment (NEO and Echo)
  • Keeping and maintaining accurate records of duties performed using appropriate documentation
  • Maintaining accurate and organized records for all maintenance, RMA's, parts shipments, etc.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met for communication with department owners and turnaround of repaired equipment

Instrument Service Engineer - In-house (Medical Device)

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience OR a combination Electronics plus 4 years applicable work experience.
  • Experience with Electronics Board/Component level troubleshooting, testing and repair preferred
  • Engineer will be carrying parts for repairing instrumentation
  • Experience using a forklift to move and relocate instrumentation
  • Clinical engineering experience, preferred
