The AMS Design Engineer will lead the AMS verification of power management ICs.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Verifying complete power management ICs
- Modeling blocks and macros for DC-DC converters and power stages
- Creating and maintaining verification plans
- Supervising and guiding simulation of blocks or complete ICs
- Work with test, application and product engineers to bring designs to mass production
- Work with the overall team to lock down key specifications and the verification of them
- Strong track record in AMS verification of successful high-volume power management ICs
- Skilled at SystemVerilog coding, Real number modeling, and VerilogAMS modeling
- Experience in writing SystemVerilog assertions
- Experience and knowledge of DC-DC controllers and common architectures
- Use of Cadence software and tools for mixed signal IC design
- Experience with Python, C language, and shell scripting
- Knowledge of the UVM digital verification environment
- Experience with FPGA and board designs is a plus
- At least 5 years working in analog IC Design or AMS for power management or mixed signal ICs
- Masters or equivalent experience in Electrical engineering
