Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the specifications and design of plant facilities and equipment, ensuring cost-efficient solutions that enhance the environment, safety, quality, and long-term profitability of the facility.
* Serve as the owner and accountable for all plant assets, managing capital and maintenance budgets, and tracking spending.
* Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Process Safety Management (PSM) program, functioning as a management representative.
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project plans align with desired outcomes.
* Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchases.
* Analyze and plan maintenance workforce utilization, predictive/preventative maintenance, space requirements, and workflow to maximize efficiency.
* Provide technical advice on plant operations and improvements, preparing engineering analysis for projects.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
* 5-7 years of experience in plant maintenance, engineering, or project engineering
* Proven track record of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, and initiative
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in TPM, 6 Sigma, Lean, and 5S methodologies
* Familiarity with PSM program implementation and maintenance
