Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide assembly with engineering leadership and guidance for the introduction and sustainment of processes, equipment and error proofing technology into assembly.
  2. Evaluate manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, test, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
  3. Assist in the estimation of manufacturing costs, determine standards, make recommendations on cost reductions and schedule improvements.
  4. Ensure efficient and effective manufacturing and production operations support to company objectives for Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Project/Program Management.
  5. Lead manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
  6. Advise in design and planning for manufacturing and assembly activities that includes personnel requirements, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and tooling requirements for legacy, re-order, and new development programs.
  7. Develop, evaluate, and deliver innovative solutions to constantly improve process capability, production volume and manufacturing quality while improving the efficiency and cost requirements of low and high-volume assembly activities.
  8. Develop detailed work instructions describing the manufacturing and assembly process details for programs including legacy, re-order and new developments in addition to providing support during traveler generation.
  9. Optimize manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  10. Lead the establishment, measurements, and control process of EPICOR and time standards for all production process steps.
  11. Participate in company meetings in order to support company goals, status reporting, and department improvements.
  12. Provide training and support for all assembly personnel as necessary on proper assembly practices, procedures and tool usage.
  13. Support planning, deployment, inventory, operating procedures, maintenance and repair of capital equipment and manufacturing tooling.
  14. Interface with Quality in resolving all non-conformance issues assigned and support the UCR, NCMR and FAR processes when applicable.

Qualifications

HOW TO SUCCEED

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in the electronics or physics disciplines. Equivalent education, training or experience may be substituted.
  2. A minimum of two (2) years of experience.
  3. This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Salary Range: $77,826 - $97,283 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
