Description:
Seeking a PCB Design Engineer who is eager to work on challenging, cutting-edge, microminiature, high-speed camera array systems in a small team setting. Should be interested in video, audio, signal processing, robotics, RF, or other advanced areas of embedded systems.

Requirements:

1. 2 to 12 years experience
2. PCB layout of microminiature, high-speed embedded systems
3. Cadence Allegro, OrCAD PCB Professional
4. PCB footprint generation from mechanical drawings and datasheets
5. Capable of both HDI boards and cheap, low-cost, and hand-assemblable boards
6. Flex and rigid-flex layout
7. Extremely small form factors and tight mechanical requirements
8. Work from CAD drawings and models
9. Challenging digital (smartphone-like) PCB layout:

• High pin count, tight pitch BGA packages
• JEDEC DDR/LPDDR/NAND interfaces
• Differential signaling
• High-speed serial communication (USB SuperSpeed, PCIe)

Deep understanding of design for high-speed signal integrity and control of EMI emissions

Communicate early and often with PCB fab and assembly houses to ensure successful and cost-effective manufacture

Desired Skills:

1. Experience in robotics, aerospace, video, RF
2. Hand assembly and reflow of SMT components (QFN, 0603, etc)
3. Motherboard or smartphone layout experience highly desired
4. Git and GitHub repository experience
