Your Role:

We're seeking an experienced iOS developer to elevate our existing apps and contribute to the development of new, cutting-edge applications. In this role, you'll work closely with our product owner to implement new features, conduct code reviews, and play a pivotal role in shaping our application design and direction. You'll be an integral part of our close-knit, product-focused development team, where your voice and expertise will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform, with a focus on OurPact, OurPact Jr., and related products, using both Swift and React Native.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Implement product requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Modernize existing UIKit-based apps to SwiftUI where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain iOS extensions, including ReplayKit integration.
• Implement robust security measures, including cryptography, to protect user data.
• Work with Core Location and optimize location services for best practices and battery efficiency.
• Understand best practices with StoreKit for in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Stay current with the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an iOS developer with a strong portfolio of released applications on the Apple App Store.
• 5+ years of iOS software development experience, including 3+ years of Swift experience.
• Expert knowledge of UIKit and ability to transition to SwiftUI.
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as GCD, StoreKit and Core Location.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Expertise in writing responsive, graphically appealing UI-centric, universal apps.
• Deep understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
• Some experience with React or React Native.
• Experience with performance optimization and memory tuning using tools like Instruments.
• Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git and continuous integration practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SwiftUI for modern app development.
• Familiarity with screen recording APIs, particularly ReplayKit.
• Knowledge of App Groups and inter-app data sharing mechanisms.
• Experience with Apple Enterprise MDM (Mobile Device Management).
• Experience with APNS push notifications and real-time event-based communications and notifications.
• Proficiency in React Native development, including experience building iOS native modules for React Native apps.
• Familiarity with TypeScript for React Native development.
• Web development skills using React.
