Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a machine shop that specializes in producing parts for Harley Davidson and other automotive and heavy industrial companies. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading parts onto CNC machines, including Haas lathes and vertical and horizontal mills and lathes. You will perform first piece and quality inspections throughout the process, use micrometers and calipers, deburr parts, and enter data into a computer after each run. Additionally, you will conduct minor maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels. This role involves minimal lifting.

Hard Skills

  • Running CNC mills or lathes for at least 1 year

  • Loading and unloading CNC machines

  • Setting up machines and editing programs

  • First piece and quality inspections

  • Using micrometers and calipers

  • Deburring parts

  • Data entry

  • Minor maintenance tasks

Work Environment

2nd Shift (4pm-2:30am) Monday through Thursday

Weekend Shift (5am-5:30pm) Friday through Sunday

Work alongside 110 employees, with 65 in the shop. Enjoy 2 - 15 min breaks on regular shifts and 2 - 20 min breaks for the weekend shift. You will train on the 1st shift for a couple of weeks. Pay ranges from $18-22 per hour for operators and $22-28 per hour for Set-Up Techs, with a $2 premium for off shifts
