The Shattuck Group is seeking a System Engineer for a position in Chantilly, VA. You would assist in the development and maintenance of architecture artifacts, conduct independent analysis of changes in logic and output for an IC developed data parsing solution whose output is leveraged among multiple applications. This includes, analyzing source code (python, c#), GOTS data processing capabilities to understand their structure, highlight deficiencies in extracting production data, and creating reference models (e.g. visio) to document structures of processing logic. You will highlight potential data processing issues in GOTS production workflows, document impacts (in Gitlab/JIRA), effectively communicate with relevant development teams to inform priorities for corrective actions, recommend improvements for GOTS data models based on those producing tools' ETL logic and desired outputs for analytics, analyze the impact of GOTS data models on differing storage implementations (JSO/SQL Databases/MongoDB) with respect to data discovery in varying toolsets, analyze the source code of those toolsets (python, C#) and coordinate across teams with the leads outside of the group on issue prioritization and development of corrections.
Qualifications:
-TS/SCI with full scope polygraph
-Possess a software engineering background in Python and C#
-Understand data processing
-Possess the ability to use production data to validate code from parsers
-Experience working with the standard devops support products our customer has (Jira, Gitlab)
-Proficiency with Visio
