The Salesforce Developer will provide expertise to a cross-functional Agile Development Team developing custom objects, page layouts, and record types to distinguish between various requirements. Delivers customer-driven solutions following agile methodologies development practices.
Responsibilities
- Shall coordinate work product with the Agile Development Team and other internal and external project stakeholders.
- Ensures release schedule expectations and deliveries are completed in line with the Government’s mission requirements/schedule.
- Coordinates and executes code releases across environments.
- Assists the MAT Project Director in briefings and demonstrations of the program across the Department of Defense.
- Able to Work in a Remote Environment within the established Core Hours (based on Eastern Time Zone)
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years in a development role with experience developing in a Salesforce.com live project, including Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Force.com environment, Visualforce, Migration Tool, and Web Services. To include:
- SFDC Integration and standard SFDC components.
- Coordinating personnel workload and managing release schedule deadlines in accordance with established release schedules.
- Customize standard objects and develop custom objects, page layouts, and record types to distinguish between various requirements.
- This position requires a favorable Tier-1 Background Controlled Unclassified Information investigation (CUI – formerly FOUO) access (ADP-III, IT-3, Tier 1 investigation) and general user network permissions with the potential of obtaining a Secret clearance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in writing Workflows and Force.com APIs.
- Familiar with the DevOps Lifecycle and experience coordinating Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of work products, and demos, with key program stakeholders.
- Experience using Salesforce Platform tools (e.g., Data Loader, Visual Source Code, Workbench); Integration of Mulesoft, Pulsar, and/or DocuSign environments is helpful, but not required.
- Strong Knowledge of building Lightning Aura Components and Lightning Web Components with an understanding of HTML, JavaScript (including libraries such as jQuery and Prototype), CSS, and Apex (including Apex Web Services).
- Experience using version control tools/products (e.g., Git or BitBucket, etc.) and coordinating and executing code releases across environments(e.g., Sandbox, Stage, Production).
- Familiarity in complex enterprise application environments with integrations and customizations to support multiple business processes
