Selectek is looking for a Design Engineer to design new, improve existing products using solidworks.Preferred:Manage the product design lifecycle from conception to full scale production including component design.Document results of testing in engineering test reports and write assembly procedures for the manufacturing team.Lead FMEA events to gain a detailed understanding of potential failure models and take appropriate action to prevent occurrences.Required:Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university.Minimum of 5 years of product design experienceDetailed knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of the following processes: sand casting, permanent mold casting, machining, and welding.Experience with SolidWorks, 3D, CAD, and Finite Element AnalysisDemonstrated experience with bringing new products to market and Redesign existing productsMust be able to live/work in Bessemer, ALSalary $90,000+Please submit resume to: 678-802-6616
