Job Description

Seeking an experienced Sales & Research Analyst to join the Analytics & Insights team. In success, you will play a key role in delivering insights that help propel our advertising customers to success.

You will utilize behavioral data and market research from multiple sources that lead to improved sales outcomes for ad-supported businesses. This will be accomplished through the analysis of listening behavior, campaign performance, audience research, and advertiser performance.

You will work closely with integrated marketing, AdOps, and sales teams to help guide strategy and drive bottom-line results. This role is ideal for someone with strong data analysis experience, a passion for media and technology, especially the Podcast industry, business acumen, and a track record of being resourceful with using data to solve problems.

You must be an avid podcast listener.

What You'll Do

  1. Work cross-functionally with Integrated Marketing and Sales teams to become intimately familiar with organizational initiatives, operational processes, and business performance.
  2. Standardize campaign performance analytics, develop framework for regularly socializing performance results and insights, and become a strategic advisor to the marketing team by using historic data to guide their planning process.
  3. Provide input and insights into post-launch and post-campaign wrap-ups for executive stakeholders, become the authoritative voice on results while providing context and other insights.
  4. Ensure initiatives are properly implemented, both from a methodological and from a data capture perspective.
  5. Interact with 3rd party vendors to help innovate and stay ahead of industry trends.

Who You Are

  1. Experience in working with and manipulating massive datasets is a must.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or technical field (Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering).
  3. 2+ years' experience as an Analyst and with marketing analytics, preferably at a media or entertainment organization.
  4. Experience with and strong understanding of performance marketing concepts, including attribution models.
  5. Proficient in SQL.
  6. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Periscope, Looker, Plot.ly).
  7. Experience with web and mobile analytics solutions (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
  8. Experience with tag management solutions (Google Tag Manager, Adobe DTM, Tealium, Segment).
  9. Experience with sales CRM solutions (Salesforce, Boostr).
  10. Strong familiarity with statistical concepts.
  11. Strong communicator with the ability to understand and interact with varying audiences and stakeholders.
  12. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  13. A self-starter, able to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
