Position Details:
Title: Adobe Commerce Developer
Location: 18250 W Lincoln Avenue Hull, New Berlin, WI - 53146
Duration: 06 Months (possible extension)
Details:
- This is a Senior Adobe Commerce Developer position, the candidate will need to work on site or most of the time on site.
- Contractor will need to develop, test, and design global code and apply/configure to US requirements, hands-on coder is desired.
Experience:
- Coding and developer skills are a must; passionate coder with 5-8 years of PHP programming language and MySQL/MariaDB.
- Coding background in Manufacturing, industrial, or ecommerce industries. Banking or financial backgrounds do not translate.
- Adobe Commerce Certified Professional or Expert certification (Magento).
Qualifications:
- Adobe Commerce Certified Professional or Expert certification; strong experience with Adobe Commerce and on-premise Magento2 environment.
- Knowledge of modern web development technologies and frameworks: React, Angular.js, Vue.js, HTML, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Prototype, JSON, layoutXML, Templates.
- Passionate coder with 5-8 years of PHP programming language and MySQL/MariaDB.
- Experience with integration technologies and frameworks: XML, RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, GraphQL.
- Working knowledge of development tools: Postman, Swagger, New Relic, Blackfire, APM tools, PHPStorm.
- Experience with payment gateways like CyberSource, Autherize.net, PayPal, Braintree.
- Experience with integrating 3rd party services (such as shipping, tax, payment, punchout, SAP, ERP, OMS) directly or through integration middleware (such as MuleSoft).
- Knowledge of version control systems (BitBucket, GitHub, GitLab, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in code quality control, cache implementation and overall performance optimization, as well as in security hardening.
- Ability to provide high quality technical designs and estimations; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work independently and with minimal supervision; collaborative and team work attitude.
- Experience in working in enterprise, distributed environment, as well as in Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Adobe Commerce (Magento) modules and extensions to meet specific project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, frontend and backend developers, functional analysts and other stakeholders to implement responsive, user-friendly e-commerce interfaces.
- Apply best coding practices to ensure website performance, scalability, maintainability and security.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs (Payment gateways, ERP systems, CRM systems) with the Adobe Commerce platform.
- Recommend, integrate and maintain Adobe Commerce plugins from 3rd parties.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Adobe Commerce implementation, including frontend, backend and infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with Adobe Commerce platform updates, security patches, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Participate in the planning, technical designs and estimations of e-commerce projects, providing technical insights and recommendations.
- Work in an agile methodology, attending in sprint planning, review and retrospective meetings.
- Collaborate with integrated technologies’ teams like SAP, Salesforce, product configurators, punchout and marketplace.
- Actively participate in the eCommerce core delivery team with opportunity to learn about innovative B2B topics and assist in deploying solutions within a global enterprise environment.
- Demonstrate respect for and responsiveness to our clients and colleagues; independently manage and deliver assigned tasks.
