TechConnect is seeking a Drafter/Designer with a structural engineering focus for an industry leading organization that is located in Tulsa, OK. We are looking for an experienced individual that is comfortable collaborating with customers and internal resources in the design, construction and maintenance for structures, buildings, datacenters, etc.
In this role you will be responsible for the layout of construction drawings based on architectural plans and models. You will detail unique conditions, adapt standard details to projects, prioritize projects, manage timelines, juggle multiple responsibilities and meet project deadlines. You will use 3D modeling to integrate data from multiple disciplines, rendering, construction sequencing, cost, lifecycle management, etc. You will need to coordinate with other disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.
To be successful in this role you need good oral/written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal team members, leadership and customers to develop positive relationships. You must be willing to accept increasing levels of responsibility and continually progress your technical skills and leadership experience. You must be able to work independently, prioritize workload and manage your time in order to handle multiple tasks and meet company/project deadlines.
Qualifications/Education
- Certificate of Achievement in Drafting and Computer-Aided Design Technology or equivalent. Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design Engineering Technology preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in structural drafting and/or design.
Technology
- Autodesk Revit and Civil3D platforms.
- OpenPlant and/or Navisworks experience is a plus.
