Glass Sales Engineer

Amotec is currently supporting a search for a Sales Engineer . Located near Hudson, OH, our client is a growing industrial manufacturing company. As the Sales Engineer , you'll leverage your expertise in glass manufacturing to meet the needs of customers. Previous glass manufacturing experience is required for this role.

Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

• Consult with customers on selecting and utilizing combustion equipment tailored to glass manufacturing processes.
• Serve as a technical liaison to sales agents and customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of oxy-fuel systems, heat transfer, and combustion chemistry.
• Prepare proposals, including component selection, pricing analysis, and project timelines.
• Travel to customer sites for equipment installation and system commissioning.
• Participate in training and stay updated on industry developments.

Technical Sales Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience with glass manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects.
