FIRMWARE ENGINEER

JOB LOCATION: 5555 INWOOD DR, COLUMBUS, IN, 47201-9755

Working on Design, Firmware Engineers to review Firmware and test standards, old test reports and decisions to be performed.

1. Use the firmware tools developed by design teams to flash the controllers and components to perform Firmware evaluation.
2. Developing new procedures as required for the developed forklift electrical controls and telematics systems.
3. Drafting the plans and meet with Design, Firmware Engineers, and Quality team members to confirm the details of the procedure.
4. Discussing the content of the plans with lab technicians to develop fixtures, HIL systems and facilitate testing.
5. Working on availability of test environment, define the procedures and reporting formats.
6. Reviewing test plan, traceability matrix and ensure usage of tools for optimization.
