We are currently looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to join our Information Technology Team at our Perth Head Office in a Full Time capacity.

About the role

• Design, code, test, and install applications using a variety of programming languages across multiple platforms.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, including graduates and junior developers.
• Liaise between the development team and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
• Coordinate and lead team meetings, including sprints, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
• Work closely with users to evaluate IT application and equipment requirements.
• Ensure systems are completed within agreed budgets and time frames while adhering to design and security standards.

About you

• You'll hold relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science, IT or software engineering.
• Have advanced skills in C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, C, C++ or similar languages, plus experience with Azure.
• Have expertise in relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres or MySQL.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture with the ability to apply this knowledge to specific project deliverables.
• Be available to participate in after hours on-call shifts.
• Previous experience in a software development leadership role is desirable.
