Responsibilities

1. Develop highly scalable tools leveraging machine learning models to solve problems such as classification, clustering, topic modeling, natural language processing, and recommendation.
2. Develop in-house machine learning tools and pipelines to support fast experimentation of machine learning models.
3. Work with other engineers to identify and solve machine learning problems.

Requirements

1. Experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, recommendation systems, deep learning, feed relevance, and data mining.
2. Expert knowledge in Java or Scala.
3. Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and shell scripts.
4. MS degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
5. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MxNet.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location, and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options. Annual Base Pay Range: $125,000—$170,000 USD
