About The Job
- Dynamic Environment: The whole team is passionate about building a beautiful and sustainable consumer product. You will work in a small cross-functional team that owns an area (like revamping our UI to use a server-driven widget model, introducing a new live chat feature, etc.) while getting the benefits of working in a larger team (great code quality norms, wide view and impact on the larger product).
- We are looking for people that are passionate about UI and web development engineering to help reimagine and enhance our GFiber web app to help make it easy to integrate new solutions.

In this role, you’ll:
- Exercise strong technical leadership through modeling best practice coding in the web frontend, designing high performance, extensible and scalable software systems, and influencing stakeholders and cross functional teams towards a world class customer experience at GFiber.
- Develop and land great user experiences in a fun environment, with 50%+ hands-on coding.
- Design and develop compelling features by collaborating with product/business, UX, QA, backend, and other client engineers.
At a minimum we’d like you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working with Web technologies (Javascript & Typescript, CSS, Angular, NextJS, React or similar).
- 5 years of backend development experience.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
It’s preferred if you have:
- Ability to debug and develop across a deep stack.
- Cypress, Jest, Webdriver, Selenium, and Test Driven Development experience.
- Micro frontends and server-driven UI experience.
- Ability to work with UX, and Product owners.
- Experience functioning as a Tech Lead on a software development team.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $209k - $230k + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
