Description:
Our client develops services for payer and provider customers. They have home-grown authentication mechanisms, but security threats are becoming very sophisticated, making it hard to catch up and mitigate those security issues.
This role will focus 100% on Customer Identity Access Management, requiring experience with Okta CIAM tools such as Auth0. They will build authentication tools based on Okta, integrating it as an authentication and authorization tool for their client services. While they have some internal teams, they lack the specific expertise needed for this role.
The selected candidate will help design and scope the roadmap for integrating Okta. The client has clear goals but needs guidance on execution. Several use cases include SSO integration, where clients will bring their identities and federate their providers using SAML or OIDC federation. Knowledge of OAuth is also required.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of the Okta platform and security standards in the authentication space, particularly SSO, OIDC, SAML, and OAuth. This role will involve working with Auth0 and building a team around this project.
The individual will create pipelines to extend tools to other customer-facing systems and develop documentation for setting up architecture and provisioning Okta. Experience in creating pipelines and setting up CI/CD is necessary.
This position will involve 30% individual tasks and 70% collaboration and enabling the team on Okta, including putting together the roadmap and creating a plan for provisioning and setting up Okta for Customer Identification Management.
