Location: Tukwila, WA
Hire Type: Contract-to-hire/Direct Hire
Rate: $24-$28/hr

Job Summary:
CNC Machinists are needed for a large manufacture in Tukwila, WA. This is a very successful plant that is experiencing a ton of growth! Looking for CNC machinist that are open to different shifts with familiarity with CNC mills and/or lathes!
Job Duties:

• Performs basic operation of equipment to produce to rate and meet quality standards.
• Loads material into machine and unloads parts after operation.
• Monitors and removes metal chips from tools and equipment and disposes of them in the proper container.
• Monitors machine condition and reports and unusual noises or occurrences to supervisor or lead.
• Monitors cutting conditions and alerts lead or supervisor if tools are not cutting properly.
• Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly workstation and performs basic machine upkeep, such as wiping down outside surface of machine, lubrication, etc.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year related CNC lathe or mill experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Must have knowledge of shop practices and procedures, ability to read blueprints, and ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
