Job Description
Who You’ll Work With
The Quality Engineer will work with the cross-functional team which includes Hardware, Software, Mechanical, MFG, Test and Supply Chain teams, and will be reporting to Quality Engineering Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Establish quality standards and KPIs for products and processes.
- Play a crucial role in developing and implementing an effective QMS within the organization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including HW, SW and Component Engineering, MFG, Failure Analysis, and supply chain to identify and mitigate quality issues and risks.
- Develop/Enhance supplier audit processes to ensure high-quality standards.
- Contribute to supplier SBR/QBR.
- Drive investigations through tiger teams for quality issues and achieve RCA and drive CLCA.
- Drive 8D process to identify and address quality issues and/or process improvements for NPI, production & sustaining.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. MS is a plus.
- Experience in Quality Engineering in high-tech manufacturing (preferably networking equipment) and working with contract manufacturing partners.
- Knowledgeable and practical experience in different Quality Management Systems, such as ISO/TL 9000 and others.
- Experience in establishing Quality Key Performance Metrics to drive continuous improvements.
- Experience in PCBA manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, and associated processes.
- Broad knowledge of tests, diagnostics, failure analysis, and debug techniques.
- Foundational knowledge in quality and reliability performance metrics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, including the ability to balance the technical and business aspects of hardware manufacturing.
- 10+ years of related experience in the Semiconductor or Electronic industries.
- Experience with the Six Sigma approach and methods.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems and supply chain concepts.
- Self-starter who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence and motivate internal and external partners.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
The new hire base pay for this role has a pay range of $110,000 to $150,000.
Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles are eligible to participate in Arista’s Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales. US-based employees are also entitled to benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
