POSITION SUMMARY
Wealth Management Technology provides solutions for our clients so that they can have access to quality product portfolio to make their financial better. We do this by ensuring that our products are available to our clients when they need them and where they need them.
As a Solution Architect, you will lead transformative solutions to help us achieve our client focused objectives. You will engage with stakeholders across Lines of Business and multiple technology teams to define best in class solutions for our clients and associates, within our risk and compliance framework. You will create resilient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions using modern architecture practices – Restful APIs, microservices, containerization, cloud, large data processing, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering.
You must have aptitude to understand the business process, work in a team environment with other architects, business/system analysts and developers. Experience in wealth management or banking is highly desirable

REQUIRED SKILLS
● Understand and analyze business requirements and map to technology solutions.
● Provide and communicate complex technology solutions across different audiences including technical, business, and/or vendors.
● Produce detailed technical design to accomplish client requirements.
● Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to develop overall implementation strategy and drive the solution, customization, and integration efforts.
● Research industry patterns and define / apply patterns to solutions.
● Provide current best practices and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the technical specification document.
● Participate in performing Proofs of Concept (POC) for various upcoming technologies to fit in business requirement
● Ability to understand business requirements, processes and technology capabilities to architect sustainable and reliable technical solutions
● Extensive experience is architecting applications that can perform at scale with high availability
● Extensive experience in distributed architecture for middle tier and databases.
● Solid understanding of SOA design patterns, RESTful APIs, microservices and messaging
● Knowledge of application containerization concepts.
● Knowledge of cloud concepts and moving applications to cloud.
● Knowledge of application and data security patterns.
● Knowledge of relational databases and Data Modeling.
● Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly articulate problems and their solutions to developers, peers and management
