Software Engineer (Experienced)

Role Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a related field.
• A strong desire to lead, execute, and own projects.
• Proven ability to learn new programming languages, technologies, and patterns.
• Comfort with working across the stack-front end, back end, and infrastructure.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Development Tools : Build tools and frameworks that support efficient development and ensure tax coverage validation.
• APIs : Develop and enhance APIs for our partners, facilitating seamless initiation of the tax filing process.
• UI Creation : Collaborate with design and tax teams to simplify the tax code into user-friendly interfaces.

Your First Few Months

• Week 1 : Orientation with the team, system setup, and your first code commit.
• Month 1 : Lead a small project, review technical specs, and demo your work at our all-hands meeting.
• Month 3 : Engage in project scoping and spec writing for medium to large projects, and help enhance team practices by writing documentation and mentoring
