INEOS Pigments is hiring an: *Instrumentation & Electrical Technician *JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and instrumentation issues that would negatively impact the safe operation of plant systems. They also proactively test, repair and upgrade electrical and instrumentation systems. Willing to work overtime as needed and during plant outages. This is a safety critical role. * Key activities include: *Safely and efficiently maintain/repair manufacturing and utilities equipment in accordance with company policies and proceduresMonitor and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process. Report deviations, equipment failures, and hazards and assist in plant investigations and problem resolutionsUtilize computer systems to obtain spare parts for equipment repairs and complete any documentation / reports as requiredInstallation, calibration, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of instruments and electrical equipment, in accordance with NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, ISA and Company Standards.Identify, interpret and effectively use drawings and documentation related to electrical and process controls including electrical one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, control schematics, P&ID's, cause and effect diagrams, instrument loop diagrams, etc.Control valve repairTroubleshoot, repair motor control circuits and equipment including VFD's, motors, and motor control circuitsParticipate and successfully complete training and development activitiesProvide on-the-job training for other maintenance personnel as neededParticipate on project teams identifying and sharing continuous improvement ideas to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and process improvements and cost reductionMaintain a high standard of housekeeping, display safe working practices in all duties and identify, correct and report hazardous situationsEstablish and share maintenance best practicesComplete reports and documentation accurately as requiredEnsure adherence to INEOS 20 Process and Behavioral Safety Principles and Life Saving RulesComplete all documentation accuratelyReview, comprehend and follow all company rules, policies and guidelinesPerform other duties as assignedAbout You You will ideally have:High school education or equivalent required.2-year technical degree / certificate in industrial electrical or instrumentation with minimum of 2 years of experience or minimum 5 years electrical and/or instrumentation experience in an industrial maintenance environment with no technical degree.Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred.Previous chemical plant experience a plusExcellent communications skillsComputer skills using Microsoft Office programsMust be able to work rotating shift schedulePhysically capable of climbing stairs and laddersAble to work in outdoor environment in all seasonal weather extremesDesired Skills:Manufacturing experience preferably in a chemical environment2-year technical degree / certificate in industrial electrical or instrumentation with minimum of 2 years of experience or minimum 5 years electrical and/or instrumentation experience in an industrial maintenance environment with no technical degree.Able to work in outdoor environment in all seasonal weather extremesComputer literate, good working knowledge of SAP system and with bar-coding systemsExcellent communication skillsAPPLY:
