Job Overview:

This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role requiring regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
2. Develop, maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods.
3. Provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
4. Lead performance, integration, and analysis of tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
5. Manage supplier development, test and production activities and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
6. Assist with investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
7. Work under minimal direction.

Minimum Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience (max not limited)
• Experience in primary structures design on Boeing 7-series airplane
• Knowledge of CATIA/ENOVIA/PDM
• Able to create and release layouts/drawings
