The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. The ISG Engineering Rotation Program allows candidates new to software engineering or systems engineering to join a fast-paced, dynamic organization in a supportive environment that encourages learning and growth. The program consists of 3 rotations, each 12 months long, to allow new hires the ability to learn across different projects, solutions, and technical deliverables needed to bring our products to market. Built into the program are key opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and career progression.

You will:

As a Software Engineer of our ISG Software Engineering Rotation Program, you and your team will be driving an end-to-end project that will be making a big impact towards our ISG Strategy.

  • Supported by technical subject matter experts, mentors, and peer advisors that will provide day-to-day support, grow your Dell network, and assimilate you into the Dell and ISG culture
  • Complete the rotation program with a deeper understanding of the ISG Engineering portfolio, accelerated technical expertise, and the ability to align your passions to your future career at Dell

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or Computer Science related fields and expect to graduate between December 2023 and May 2024
  • Understanding of Computer Science Foundations and the Software Development Lifecycle, as well as experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Rust, C, C++, Java, or Golang
  • Highly motivated with an agile learning mindset and an ability to ramp up new technologies quickly
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will make you a great collaborator in a global team environment
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and deliver results while demonstrating accountability, innovation, and detail orientation

Desirable Requirements:

  • Understanding of Front-End technologies (such as Spring Framework, Angular/AngularJS, and HTML) or Database technologies (such as SQL and NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of kernel/embedded systems programming, including multi-threaded, locking and memory management concepts; experience with Container Management technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes; SCRUM and

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is $102,060 - $131, 250 depending on location.
