Education: Bachelor's degree with a major in electrical engineering from a college or university with an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited engineering program(s). A degree in engineering technology is not considered qualified for this position.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in fighter aircraft avionics engineering; knowledge and experience with OFPs that may be utilized in support of the QF-16.

Responsibilities
- Support the regeneration and conversion of AMARG stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the QF-16 Aerial Target Program.
- Support requirements definition, systems engineering milestone review oversight, approval of subsystem level designs, verify completed software and hardware designs, aircraft designs, development, ground and flight test support, and avionics integration.
- Identify Engineering Change Proposals, Time Compliance Technical Orders, or avionics changes on potential aircraft to support the QF-16 program.
- Support site visits to identify necessary facility upgrades and/or improvements for QF-16 operations.
- Support Technical Interchange Meetings, providing discussion inputs, avionics recommendations, and accomplishing kit proofs for F-16 TCTO development.
- Assess the integrity/capability of the F-16 supply system to ensure ample spares and repair capabilities for required refurbishments and follow-on support.
- Provide avionics related inputs to QF-16 decision makers regarding the number and blocks of F-16s for creating a fleet of QF-16s.
- Identify regeneration elements, including requirement documentation preparation, budgeting, collecting cost data, and estimating F-16 SPO resources for regeneration.
- Attend and provide technical inputs to coordination meetings and Program Management Reviews as required.
Qualifications
- An active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with a major in electrical engineering from a college or university with an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited engineering program(s).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in fighter aircraft avionics engineering; knowledge and experience with OFPs that may be utilized in support of the QF-16.
