Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop machines, tooling, and work-cells to enable advanced cell stack manufacturing methods.
- Work collaboratively with the Corporate Technology group to scale up Nel’s ability to meet our production demands.
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of factory layout, cell layouts and equipment design & procurement.
- Support the Automation Team on current and future projects, such as the implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robot material transporters.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3 – 7 years of professional experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
- Hands on implementation of projects.
- Prior technical experience working automation/robotics for both mechanical assembly, coating & lamination processes and testing environment.
- Creo CAD software or equivalent experience.
- AutoCAD software or equivalent experience.
- Experience in PEM technologies or related field a plus.
- Familiarity with Internet of Things, Digital Twining, Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
