Choice Digital formed in 2021 with the goal of making it easier for businesses to send money to their customers and to provide them with precise control over how they receive payments. Traditionally, when a business needs to get some money to their customers for things like incentives, deposit returns, or rebates they needed to jump through a bunch of hoops to make those payments happen. This can be a nightmare for businesses to manage, adding cost and taking resources away from focusing on the core mission of the business. Meanwhile, customers experience all kinds of pain points, having to wait lengthy periods of time to get the money they are owed, having to take several steps to receive the payment, with no choice in how they get paid.
Choice Digital’s platform solves for all of this by providing flexibility and an intuitive interface for businesses on the front end, a robust set of business tools to manage those payments, and their customers with a simple experience that includes the ability to select a payment method that meets their individual needs. We are powering a transition from what are typically consistently poor transactional experiences to meaningful customer interactions.

Responsibilities
- Build and own various components of the Choice Digital platform.
- Ensure that implementation meets highest quality and security standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement solutions for client-side and server-side applications.
- Enhance existing DevOps for best practices for continuous integration, testing, and deployment and scaling.
- Work directly with junior engineers to help the team grow and level up as a whole.
- Work directly with Product Management and Engineering Management to plan and prioritize work.
Qualifications
- Min 5 yrs software design and development
- Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Development
- Experience with software testing methodologies and strategies
- Mastery of Python and NodeJs, and an ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Very comfortable with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understand Git/Source Control best practices
- Ability to adjust priorities to delivery schedules
- Must have a passion for building GREAT software
