Process Engineer

VEKA, a national leader in the vinyl extrusion industry, is accepting applications for a Process Engineer for our site in Fombell, PA.
Job Description
Responsible to create and improve processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability. Overall Operating Efficiency (OEE) is key metrics along with safety, quality, capacity and delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing facility that result in higher OEE and improved safety, quality and productivity
• Analyzes production capabilities, identify improvement opportunities and drive successful, sustained implementation
• Provides process documentation and operating instructions
• Monitors and reports on key performance metrics
• Drives the implementation of new processes and procedures
• Implements control methods that monitor process output
• Supports manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality and profitability for the company

• Thorough understanding of statistical process control and LEAN methodologies
• Excellent computer skills, including extensive knowledge of software related to tracking production and statistical process control
• Passion for safety and quality
• Leadership qualities utilizing influence over position
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, results driven and self-motivated
• Ability to think creatively about solutions and improvements with a logical and methodical mindset
• Flexibility in job responsibilities and assignments
• Minimal travel

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical field
• 5+years of manufacturing experience
